Just in the moment in which following The Clone Wars had become almost pleasant, here we return to the "old glories". Take it or Leave it, the sixth episode of the seventh season of Star Wars The Clone Wars lowers the average previously achieved. While laying the groundwork for a series of linked episodes it fails to entertain like its predecessors, returning to slam it in episode 3. In which case you missed the previous episodes, you can find them Wed.
Martez and Tano looking for credits
Still alongside Trace, Ahsoka begins to have some difficulty hiding her past as a Jedi, especially given her general knowledge about the universe. A particularly profitable contract leads the three to smuggle spices for the Pyke, known space gangsters. Obviously Ahsoka, in strong disagreement, comes into conflict with Rafa, driven by the need for credit and, while the discussion rages, Trace downloads the material in hyperspace, condemning them all. Despite Ahsoka's abilities, the situation quickly worsens and the three are captured by the criminals.
An episode that brakes
Unfortunately Take it or Leave it is an episode that puts a terrible brake on the narrative previously started with the fifth episode. Starting right from the relationships between the characters, in the last episode he appeared as already sedated and pacified. Contrary to what we have already seen, we notice in Rafa Martez a sharp backtrack towards Ahsoka, behavior that gives the whole episode the motion. From the graphic point of view there is a small downgrade, even if some glimpses remain really well done and suggestive. Personally, I hope it is a run-up rather than a retreat.
