Blizzard has finally announced the beta of Diablo IV at IGN Fan Fest 2023 with a trailer that prepares us to enter the hell that we all love since December 31, 1996. It goes without saying how much this game has been a milestone over the decades and how it is trying, with every new release, and with mixed success, to reinvent itself.
But now let's recover some scattered information about Diablo IV.
Since when can we play the Diablo IV beta?
The beta will run from March 17 to 19 for those who pre-ordered the game, while the following weekend, the open beta will be available to everyone from March 24 to 26.
Made available on Windows PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Playstation 4 so that all players will have the opportunity to explore the early stages of Diablo IV in detail.
A first taste of the campaign will also be available with the prologue and the entire First Act. We'll be dropped into the Shattered Peaks where we can mow down the demon hordes and roam the lands rugged by eons of war. We will be able to go up to level 25 in these two weekends, but we will be able to continue to take down demons until the end of the open beta.
Like all of our beloved Diablos, we will be able to carry out expeditions and also, by completing the exciting missions provided by the inhabitants of Sanctuary, grab powerful loots. It will be a fantastic opportunity that will try to fill, at least momentarily, the wait for June 6th or the release of the finished game. Being a beta there will be the possibility of encountering performance problems and possible glitches, which thanks to the sending of our feedback Blizzard will be able to correct and make changes to leave us with a game worthy of the Diablo name.
What will be the classes we could try our hand at in the Diablo IV beta?
In the open beta we will be able to play all the classes to savor their skills and everything that characterizes them and they will be 5:
BARBARIANS: They possess relentless strength and wield a weapon for every occasion. Their intimidating war cries ring out loud scattering the hordes of enemies;
NECROMANTS: Sharp summoners who generate unstoppable hordes of undead. Their essence fuels the three mighty pillars of Bone, Blood and Shadow to bring down one's enemies;
CUT THROAT: (demon hunter in other Diablos) are an agile warrior class who specialize in ranged and close combat. Their imbued weapons and chained attacks can overwhelm any menace;
ENCHANTERS: command the elements to conquer victory, master the fury of nature, unleash lightning bolts, impale enemies on spikes of ice and rain down flaming meteors to pulverize any enemy;
DRUIDS: Fierce shapeshifters who transform to fight alongside creatures of nature. They also rule the force of the earth, wind and storm unleashing the wrath of the elements.

How can we redeem the beta early access codes?
All those who have pre-purchased the game on PC will have the opportunity to play the early beta, but, for those who have not done so, there are codes that will allow you to play the game early without having purchased the final game. Console players who have already purchased Diablo 4 will receive a platform-specific code to download the beta via email to their Battle.net email address when we get close to the start of Early Access.
Of course, there will be benefits. All demon slayers who fight to defend Sanctuary during this short period will be rewarded with a series of unique rewards that we may keep even at the release of Diablo IV . There will be three rewards that during the beta we will be able to unlock with specific objectives;
- Title INITIAL DEAD/INITIAL VICTIMS: Obtained by reaching Kyovashad with a character
- Title PREMATURE PIONEER/PREMATURE PIONEER: Obtained by reaching level 20 with a character
- Beta Wolf Sac cosmetic item: Obtained by reaching level 20 with a character
Scattered questions about the beta. What time does it start? Can he play co-op?
When we get close to the weekends of the open beta and early access there will be the possibility to download the game and we will announce, also on our social networks, the exact day when the installation can start. The early access beta starts on March 17 at 18:00 CET and ends on March 20 at 21:00 CET, while the open beta starts on March 24 at 18:00 and ends on March 27 at 21:00 CET
On all consoles that will support Diablo we could hire a second character in local cooperative, or split screen to fight the armies of the underworld with a little help: obviously during the weekend at least one of the players must have access to the experience , while for the other demon slayer it will only be enough to have connected the Battle.net accounts of your console.
Sanctuary needs our help to free it from the strength of the Underworld and thanks also to the online cooperative up to 4 group members we will be able to gather a good group of heroes, where defeating the devils near other players will give a 10% increase in points additional experience.
